The Barnsley Hairdressing Company
Dimensions the Barnsley based hairdressing company originates back to 1973 when the first salon was opened in Peel Street Arcade in Barnsley.
Now with salons in Barnsley and Wakefield and Training Academies throughout Yorkshire in York, Leeds, Wakefield, Barnsley and Sheffield, Dimensions has grown to become one of the best known names in hairdressing in Yorkshire.
The day to day running of the business is still managed by the Shaw family, with Bill founder of the company assuming responsibility for the Training Division, while Bill & Bernadette’s Daughter Tina takes care of managing the salons.
So 33 years on Dimensions continues to go from strength to strength and with Brittany, Bill & Bernadette’s Grand Daughter and Tina’s Daughter just embarking on a career in Hairdressing the Dimensions Group aims to be around for many years to come.
